The Finland international is set to leave Ligue 1 just a year and a half after intiailly arriving from Genk, having only been able to make 23 appearances in total – and just six this season. His team sit in 17th, in the relegation zone – the bottom four go down from Ligue 1 this year – and have only won thrice all season.
Like Brest, the Royal Blue are fighting relegation, and currently find themselves four points adrift at the bottom of the table. The 28-year-old’s move is set to be completed, pending his medical as well as other administrative processes. Should all go to plan, the former Helsingborgs man will complete his move to the other side of the Rhine tomorrow.
