Manchester United vs Watford Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>Boasting a strong home record against the Hornets, Al Hain-Cole expects Solskjaer's men to bounce back from their Carabao Cup exit with an FA Cup win

Watford will be hoping to pull off an FA Cup upset when they travel to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United in Saturday’s third round clash.

The Hornets are currently sixth in the Championship after suffering relegation from the top-flight last season, although did manage a 2-0 home victory against this opposition during that campaign.

Manchester United vs Watford Latest Odds

However, they are without a win at this ground since 1978’s League Cup victory and remain hefty 8/1 (9.00) outsiders with bet365 to pull off a shock by coming out on top.

Indeed, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have won 17 of their last 19 matches against this opposition and are clear 2/7 (1.29) favourites to ease into the next round with yet another victory.

None of the last 20 encounters between this pair have resulted in draws, but there are odds of 19/4 (5.75) available on them taking this game into extra-time after a stalemate.

Manchester United vs Watford Team News

Victor Lindelof returned from injury for Wednesday’s Carabao Cup defeat against Manchester City, leaving Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and the suspended Edinson Cavani as the only absentees.

Joao Pedro is doubtful and Isaac Success, Craig Cathcart, Tom Dele-Bashiru, Christian Kabasele, and Domingos Quina are all injured, while loanee James Garner is ineligible to face his parent club.

Manchester United vs Watford Preview

Despite the disappointing Carabao Cup exit against their local rivals, the Red Devils will still be in confident spirits of bouncing back against an opponent that has caused them little bother in the past.

Indeed, the guests have lost their last 10 successive visits to this ground, scoring a paltry four goals over the course of that run.

It is hard to back Xisco’s men to improve on that record given their away form this campaign, having won just twice in 12 games in all competitions on the road and hitting the net only seven times.

Crawley Town vs Leeds United Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>The Reds are going well in League Two and our tipster is backing them to give their Premier League opponents a run for their money in the FA Cup

League Two club Crawley Town will be out to cause a major FA Cup upset on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Premier League side Leeds United to the People’s Pension Stadium.

It is the first time since 2013 that the Reds have reached this stage of the competition, doing so after a thrilling 6-5 win over Torquay in the first round and a 2-1 success at AFC Wimbledon in the second.

Crawley Town vs Leeds United Latest Odds

John Yems’ men are currently sixth in League Two after four wins in their last six but are 15/2 (8.50) outsiders with bet365 to stun Leeds.

The Whites have crashed out at this stage of the FA Cup in each of the last three seasons and are priced at 3/10 (1.33) to break that run by reaching the fourth round here.

A draw would see the tie go into extra time and potentially penalties, and that scenario is available at 9/2 (5.50).

Crawley Town vs Leeds United Team News

Max Watters, Crawley’s top scorer this season, may not be involved ahead of a potential January transfer away from the West Sussex club.

Marcelo Bielsa is likely turn to his academy and fringe players for this one, with Jamie Shackleton, Leif Davis, Charlie Cresswell, Oliver Casey, Niall Huggins and Jack Jenkins all in contention to start.

Crawley Town vs Leeds United Preview

This tie would ordinarily be prime for an upset, with Leeds set to make wholesale changes as they focus on the Premier League and Crawley unbeaten in all competitions since November 24 – a run of nine games without defeat.

However, the lack of fans at the People’s Pension Stadium will surely play a part and make Crawley’s already difficult job even harder, especially given they have not been particularly strong at the back in recent weeks.

Although going well results-wise and in attack with 17 goals in their last nine games, the Reds have managed only one clean sheet in that time and even a much-changed Leeds side will fancy their chances of breaching the home defence.

Crawley Town vs Leeds United Tips and Predictions

Both teams have scored in nine of Crawley’s last 10 matches and another clash with goals at both ends looks like a strong price at Evens (2.0) with bet365 for this FA Cup third round fixture.

Fulham vs Chelsea Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>The visitors are clear favourites to record a victory in this weekend's west London derby but we are opposing a high-scoring encounter on Saturday

Chelsea make the short trip to Craven Cottage on Saturday for a west London derby against Fulham in the Premier League.

The visitors will be desperate to recover some momentum against their struggling neighbours, with the Blues suffering four defeats in their last six matches in the English top-flight.

Scott Parker’s side are struggling with just one win at home all season, which came against West Brom – one of the two sides who are currently below them in the table.

Fulham vs Chelsea Latest Odds

The Cottagers have not beaten their more illustrious neighbours in any competition for 15 years and bet365 offer them at 13/2 (7.50) to record what would be a famous victory.

Chelsea, for their part, can be backed at 2/5 (1.40) to pick up their fourth away win this term, while the draw is priced at 7/2 (4.50).

Fulham vs Chelsea Team News

The Blues could welcome back both Reece James and Andreas Christensen, neither of whom have been available so far this year. N’Golo Kante missed the FA Cup win over Morecambe last weekend with a hamstring issue but could feature here.

Fulham have no major injury issues.

Fulham vs Chelsea Preview

Wednesday night’s 1-1 result at Tottenham saw Parker’s men record their fifth consecutive draw, a run which has also seen them pick up a point against champions Liverpool.

Despite sitting very firmly in the relegation zone, Fulham have a similar defensive record to their west London rivals – conceding just three more goals than the Blues’ total of 21.

Chelsea, however, have scored more than double the amount of goals than their neighbours and have had a full week to prepare for this clash.

The Blues’ squad is better equipped to deal with a challenging fixture schedule and there should be some interest in backing them to get back to winning ways in a fixture which traditionally sees them triumph.

Fulham vs Chelsea Tips and Predictions

Chelsea to win and under 3.5 goals in the game is priced at 5/4 (2.25) and has paid out in the Blues’ recent visits to struggling Burnley and Newcastle.

Leicester City vs Southampton Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>The Saints have been strong at the back in recent Premier League fixtures and our tipster is backing another tight affair when they face the Foxes

Leicester City are looking for their 11th Premier League win of the season when they welcome Southampton to the King Power Stadium on Saturday night.

The Foxes currently sit third in the table on 32 points, just four points behind leaders Manchester United, but will no doubt face a stiff challenge from a Saints side that beat Liverpool in their last league outing.

Leicester City vs Southampton Latest Odds

Just 10 of Leicester’s points this season have come on home turf but bet365 make them 4/5 (1.80) favourites to add another three to that tally.

Southampton ended a four-game winless streak in the league last time out and they are 10/3 (4.33) to win at the King Power for the third season in a row.

Only one of the last seven Premier League meetings between these teams has ended level and another stalemate is available at 14/5 (3.80).

Leicester City vs Southampton Team News

James Maddison, Cengiz Under, Jamie Vardy and Ricardo Pereira are all in contention to feature whilst Dennis Praet will miss out.

Ralph Hasenhuttl is hopeful that Che Adams and Oriol Romeu will return with Jannik Vestergaard and Nathan Redmond unlikely to be available, while Alex McCarthy is back following his spell out after a positive Covid-19 test.

Leicester City vs Southampton Preview

As impressive as Leicester have been this season, their home form has been a disappointment, with only four teams picking up fewer points in their own stadium than the 10 that the Foxes have managed.

They have been reasonably strong in the final third, with 11 goals in eight Premier League fixtures at the King Power, but that tally came from just 27 shots on target – with their average of 3.38 shots on target per game well below their overall season average of 4.06.

Leicester could, then, be set to endure more struggles against a Southampton side that has kept four clean sheets in their last six league games, including three in a row, with their most recent game being a 1-0 win over champions Liverpool.

Leicester City vs Southampton Tips and Predictions

All five of Southampton’s last five fixtures have seen fewer than three goals and bet365’s price of Evens (2.0) on that sequence to continue looks a strong selection for this Premier League clash on Saturday night.

Liverpool vs Manchester United Betting Tips: Fernandes to steal the headlines at Anfield

class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>With the Reds misfiring in front of goal, Al Hain-Cole is backing Solskjaer's star man to come up with the goods once again in a heavyweight clash

Liverpool will be desperate for their famous front three to rediscover their cutting edge when Manchester United visit Anfield in Sunday’s Premier League clash.

The Reds have seen their form fall off a cliff edge recently, taking just two points from the last three league matches and scoring just once in the process.

Having scored five goals in four matches prior to that three-game barren run, Mohamed Salah can be backed at 3/1 (4.00) with bet365 to return to form at just the right moment by opening the scoring against the old rivals.

Despite his mini slump, the Egyptian star remains the top scorer in the league with 13 goals from 16 matches and is a narrow 4/5 (1.80) to strike anytime.

Sadio Mane was the last player to hit the net in the league for Jurgen Klopp’s men and offers slightly better value at 11/10 (2.10) – having also struck twice in the 4-1 FA Cup win over an Aston Villa youth team.

Roberto Firmino’s goal-scoring form has been a concern for a while after a return of just five goals in 24 competitive fixtures this campaign, but he can be backed at 6/4 (2.50) to deliver here.

In contrast, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is blessed with a number of in-form attackers who will be in confident spirits after nine wins and no defeats in 11 league matches, with Bruno Fernandes the pick of the bunch.

The Portuguese playmaker has transformed the Red Devils since joining last January and looks an excellent value first goalscorer bet at 7/1 (8.00) after scoring 19 goals from 30 league starts – not to mention 2/1 (3.00) anytime odds.

Marcus Rashford is another tempting proposition at those same 2/1 (3.00) anytime odds, having scored five times in his last eight league appearances to make it 14 goals in 22 competitive starts in all competitions.

Anthony Martial memorably scored on his debut against Liverpool back in 2015 and will also fancy his chances of paying out at 2/1 (3.00) considering the hosts’ defensive absentees at Anfield.

All odds correct at time of writing. Please gamble responsibly.

Liverpool vs Manchester United Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>With Klopp's men in poor form and missing some key players, Al Hain-Cole expects the high-flying Red Devils to claim at least a point at Anfield

A heavyweight clash takes place at the top of the Premier League table on Sunday as Liverpool welcome Manchester United to Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s champions are three points adrift of their old rivals in second place, having slipped off the summit after a run of two points from the last available nine.

Liverpool vs Manchester United Latest Odds

However, they are 19/20 (1.95) favourites with bet365 to leapfrog them back into pole position by coming out on top here.

The Red Devils have won nine and lost none of their last 11 fixtures in the league, and can be backed at 13/5 (3.60) to open up a six-point lead at the top with a big win on enemy territory.

Six of the last nine encounters between this duo have resulted in draws, and you can get odds of 12/5 (3.40) on them cancelling each other out once again.

Liverpool vs Manchester United Team News

Joel Matip and Naby Keita will both face late fitness tests, with Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Kostas Tsimikas, and Diogo Jota all ruled out through injury.

Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw and Paul Pogba all returned for Tuesday’s win over Burnley, leaving Victor Lindelof as the only doubt as he struggles with a back injury.

Liverpool vs Manchester United Preview

While debate still rages over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s suitability as the long-term manager at Old Trafford, his team’s rise to the top of the table has gone almost under the radar.

Nevertheless, their ascent has shown plenty of hallmarks of genuine title contenders – particularly the ability to turn draws into wins in tight matches against more modest opposition.

In fact, the Norwegian manager has always boasted a strong record in games against heavyweight opposition, losing just one of three meetings with the otherwise rampant Reds since taking over.

He will certainly back himself to maintain that record against a Liverpool side that has looked bereft of confidence and creativity in recent matches, with their damaging injury list seemingly catching up with them.

Liverpool vs Manchester United Tips and Predictions

On current form, odds of 4/5 (1.80) seem like solid value on United bolstering their place at the top by at least avoiding defeat on Merseyside.

All odds correct at time of writing. Please gamble responsibly.
