Dutch side FC Utrecht want to sign English defender Jonathan Panzo on loan from AS Monaco, according to L’Équipe.

The 18-year-old joined the Principality side last summer from Chelsea, but he did not manage any real playing time. Gladbach would like to make a transfer bid to buy him permanently, but Monaco want to keep him long-term and would prefer to send him on loan.

This is what Utrecht intend to do, with Panzo under contract with Monaco until 2021, he appears set to live through his first season filled with professional football action.
