After a village youth decided to ride a bicycle along with the baratis to his bride’s home, Pradeep Kumar Tiwari along with the baratis who had come to attend his wedding, on Friday, pedalled from his village Daanpur to Rattipur, the party venue.

His family members said they took the decision to check unnecessary expenses during the marriage and to create awareness about environment conservation.

The ‘baraat’ rode bicycles all the way to the bride’s home and was welcomed by the villagers at various places.
