Kerala is still picking up the pieces from the devastating flood which battered the state for nearly two weeks. The massive floods left some 250 people dead and inflicted damages worth thousands of crores on the state.

With rains subsided, flood waters have started receding in most parts of the state. While it is definitely good news for many living in relief camps, as they can now go back to their homes, others are not that lucky – they don’t have a house left to go back to.
