Rolland Courbis will be overseeing his first match in charge of Rennes as they host in-form Gazelec Ajaccio at Roazhon Park. Courbis took over from Philippe Montanier on Wednesday, less than 24 hours after Rennes had lost to Ligue 2 side Bourg-en-Bresse in the Coupe de France. The new boss inherits a side sat sixth in the table and they can move up to third with a win here.

Getting all three points won’t be easy though, as Gazelec Ajaccio head into this match on an 11 league game unbeaten streak. The visitors’ fairy-tale story sees them 13th in the table, five points ahead of the relegation zone, although four of their last five league matches have ended in draws.
Earlier this season, these two sides drew 1-1 at the Stade Ange Casanova, with Giovanni Sio scoring a last gasp equaliser for Rennes.
