— ECW original Sabu has checked into rehab, according to Shane Douglas’ Extreme Rising promotion. Sabu was hospitalized prior to April’s Extreme Reunion show and checked into rehab on the West Coast last month. Sabu is not booked for ER’s next tour June 29 and 30.

The organization has said, “upon completion of doctors approval, we would consider having Sabu participating in Extreme Reunion future events.”

Although unconfirmed, his friends are under the impression that WWE is sponsoring his treatment.
