Newest Team On Smackdown Gets A Name

As seen on WWE Smackdown Live tonight, the team of Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, & Sarah Logan were scheduled to face off against Natalya, Charlotte Flair, & Naomi after attacking them last week on Smackdown, interrupting the Women’s Championship Match between Natalya and WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte in the process.

During an interview backstage, Ruby Riott announced that their team will officially be known as “The Riott Squad”. The spelling of the name officially confirms what we reported earlier in the spelling change for Ruby from Riot to Riott.

Update On Becky Lynch Following Last Week’s Attack

In related news, the announce team mentioned that Becky Lynch would be out of action for the “foreseeable future” following the attack last week from the newly formed Riott Squad.

Becky Lynch was likely written off TV for the time being due to her being a cast member in the upcoming newest installment of “The Marine” which stars The Miz and will also guest star WWE Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels.
