According to our colleagues at Sky Sports, Liverpool have rejected initial approaches from AS Roma and Bayer Leverkusen for the signing of French defender Mamadou Sakho.

Sakho is unhappy that he is not being played in the starting XI, with Euro 2016 just around the corner. He needs regular minutes in order to be assured of a place in Didier Deschamps’ squad.
