WWE announced last week that the next NXT Takeover show will be taking place on June 1st. The event will not be taking place before a main roster pay-per-view, and some additional details about the show have come out now as well. Takeover will be coming to the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It has also been confirmed that the show will be called NXT Takeover XXV, in reference to the fact that the show will officially be the 25th NXT Takeover event. Takeover was originally set to come to San Jose, California on June 8th, but the location was changed and the date was pushed up due to when WWE was forced to postpone their planned return to Saudi Arabia. The card for Takeover was made during the most recent set of NXT TV tapings.

Some new details concerning this month’s highly-anticipated Double or Nothing event have also surfaced. The event in Las Vegas, Nevada will be the inaugural show for the new All Elite Wrestling promotion, and according to PWInsider, fans will have the chance to catch the show on pay-per-view. The site notes that AT&T’s Uverse service has Double or Nothing scheduled for May 25th with a 7pm ET start time. The belief is that more pay-per-view outlets will confirm that they are carrying the show very soon. Nobody from All Elite Wrestling has given out any information on how fans can watch the show, but Cody Rhodes did indicate not too long ago that full details on the matter will be provided in the not too distant future.
One of the most impressive female wrestlers in the world today has got to be former Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard. Blanchard has had an incredible run in Impact Wrestling over the past couple of months, and tons of wrestlers want the chance to compete against her. One of those individuals is former Raw Women’ Champion Sasha Banks. Fans on Instagram noticed that Banks commented on one of Blanchard’s photos this week by writing “Let’s wrestle.” Banks is reportedly frustrated with WWE right now and tried to quit the company during WrestleMania 35. Banks’ WWE contract is said to expire within a few more months, but perhaps a match against Blanchard could be in the cards for her at some point down the road.
