It’s Really Difficult To Be A Christian In China, Sub-Saharan Africa And Wait, India Too

A global advocacy group, ‘Open Doors’ has come up with a revelation that one in every three Christians living in Asia faces high levels of persecution and it has increased after religion based threats and violence across the globe, particularly in China and sub-Saharan Africa.

The situation is quite grim in China as around half of the 100 million Christians living in China face persecution and “the worst it’s been in more than a decade”, following “new laws seeking to control religious expression”, the Open Doors watchdog said. India also found its place in top 10 India and the Open Doors said, as “Hindu extremists act with impunity and violent attacks on Christians and churches rise”.
