Jason Jordan Update; NXT TakeOver Will Only Have Four Matches

— NXT TakeOver: War Games – scheduled for this Saturday, November 17 – will consist of only four matches instead of the usual five, reports Dave Meltzer. The reason for this is because of the four matches will also get a significant amount of time, specifically the War Games match. The women’s match is also not going to be short as it is 2-out-of-3 falls bout for the NXT women’s championship.

— The Kassius Ohno vs. Matt Riddle match is still scheduled to take place this weekend in Los Angles, but it will be taped before the actual TakeOver event with the intention to air it on the weekly NXT TV show, either on 11/21 but possibly later. One week’s episode of TVs is still expected to be taped prior to TakeOver, with the other shows scheduled to be taped this week on 11/15.

— Injured WWE star Jason Jordan made a rare statement on social media regarding his injury which has kept him out of action for nearly a year. Jordan – who underwent a neck procedure in early 2018 – has been sidelined after experiencing multiple setbacks in his recovery. At one point there was serious concern that he may never be cleared to wrestle again which is why WWE had him start learning other aspects of the business backstage. However, Jordan’s latest statement (below) seems to suggest that he will be back:
