Ronda Rousey’s attack on Alexa Bliss, Kurt Angle, and several WWE officials during Raw a few weeks ago forced the General Manager to suspend the former UFC fighter for thirty days. Although Rousey has not made any appearances on Raw, she has continued to compete at a few live events during her suspension, and Rousey has just confirmed that she will be attending the Extreme Rules pay-per-view this month. During a taped interview on Raw last night, Rousey explained to Renee Young that she will be purchasing a front row ticket to watch Extreme Rules as a fan. Given that Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss will fight in an Extreme Rules match, it is certainly possible that Rousey will get involved in that match.

One WWE legend that fans have very fond memories of is Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat. Steamboat is a WWE Hall of Famer who now currently works as an ambassador for WWE. Unfortunately for the famous wrestler, it has been reported that he has undergone a severe surgery. PWInsider reports that Steamboat recently underwent four hours of surgery to repair a hip injury that has been bothering him for quite some time. Despite the long surgical procedure, it was noted that Steamboat is now walking without any pain or discomfort, and he now appears to be on the road to recovery. More updates and information on the staus of Ricky Steamboat’s health will be available as soon as possible.
It has definitely been a great few weeks for Raw Superstar Dolph Ziggler. He recently won the Intercontinental Championship from Seth Rollins, and he’s been getting some wins on TV lately with the help of Drew McIntyre. What some fans may not be aware of is that the former World Heavyweight Champion also works as a standup comedian. Ziggler has just announced that a huge standup event called “DZ & Friends” will be taking place during SummerSlam weekend on August 17th at Carolines on Broadway. Ziggler promises that he will be joined by plenty of surprise guests, and a photo he uploaded on Twitter seems to indicate that Tyler Breeze, Zack Ryder, Renee Young, and Charly Caruso will be attending the show.
