Shakopee wrestler Paxton Creese and Centennial wrestler Emily Shilson won freestyle gold medals at the Pan American Cadet Championships. The event took place on May 25-27 in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Creese and Shilson were both Golden Boot recipients – recognizing each tournament’s outstanding wrestler.
Creese also won a silver medal in the Greco-Roman tournament.
The Pan American Cadet Championships is a qualifying event for the Youth Olympic Games.
