WWE has taped the first round of a small tournament to crown the first ever NXT UK Women’s Champion, as a part of a two-day taping event in Birmingham, England.

It is still unknown exactly when WWE plans to begin releasing episodes of NXT UK television, or even how they plan to distribute the show both domestically and internationally. We hope to have an update on that situation very soon.

The semifinal matches have been confirmed, as front-runner Toni Storm will face off against England’s own Jinny, while South Australia’s Rhea Ripley goes one-on-one against NXT veteran Dakota Kai.
