Becky Lynch & Ronda Rousey to Headline WrestleMania?

After their planned match at WWE Survivor Series had to be canceled, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has had an update on when Becky Lynch will face Ronda Rousey.

WWE had to pull the planned match between the Raw and SmackDown Live Women’s Champions due to Becky Lynch suffering a serious concussion and a broken face after a punch from Nia Jax and it caused plenty of changes to the WWE Survivor Series card.

Instead of Lynch, Charlotte Flair will now take her place and go one on one with Rousey to continue the SmackDown vs Raw element of the show, but that match is not expected to close the show, which the originally planned match was.

However, WWE is still very much planning on having the match take place after the WWE Universe got behind the feud due to some excellent promo work by both ladies in the ring and on social media.

Lynch and Rousey have continued trading blows at each other over social media since the match was canceled, but it seems WWE has a much bigger stage in mind for it now.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE is now planning on having Lynch vs Rousey be the headline match at WrestleMania 35 which would be a historic moment, marking the first time a female match has closed a WrestleMania.
