The Rock is currently filming the much hyped Fast and Furious spinoff film, Hobbs & Shaw. Rocky recently posted a pic of him on set and assured fans that the crew is “making something pretty cool for you guys.”
Rock’s Instagram post also revealed that the project was taking a physical toll on him. This surely comes as no surprise to WWE fans, who are fully aware of just how intense and how physical The Rock can be.
Rocky’s character is Luke Hobbs, a Diplomatic Security Services agent who tried to bring down Vin Diesel’s crew in Fast Five. He also appeared in the next two films of the franchise. Jason Statham portrays Deckard Shaw, a ruthless special forces assassin.
Hobbs & Shaw is directed by David Leitch, who also directed John Wick, Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2. Hobbs & Shaw opens on August 2, 2019.
