The July 30 episode of SmackDown averaged 2.043 million viewers on Fox, down 4.4 percent from the previous week.
It’s the third straight week that SmackDown’s audience has been above two million viewers, which coincides with the return of fans and live touring.
In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown drew a 0.57 rating, up 3.6 percent from the previous week. The total number of 18-49 viewers was 742,000, a 33,000 viewer increase from the July 23 episode.
SmackDown has held up well over the first two weeks of Olympic competition, and they’ll go head-to-head with the Olympics one more time before the Olympics conclude.
As compared to this week in 2020, SmackDown was up 7.9 percent in overall viewers and up 14 percent in 18-49. It’s the third straight week — and the fourth week in the last five — where SmackDown has had double-digit year-over-year increases in the key demo.
