PWInsider is reporting that WWE SmackDown Live will soon be referred to as “WWE Friday Night SmackDown” to reflect the brands move to Friday nights. The name change will occur on Oct. 4th.

According to PWInsider, Friday Night SmackDown “is how the series will be officially referred to in all marketing and promotion as well as within WWE commentary.”
