More Matches Reportedly Planned For WWE WrestleMania 36

The WWE WrestleMania 36 card is beginning to take shape and according to a new report by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, two more matches are expected.

So far we only have two matches confirmed for the show, which are:

Brock Lesnar (c) vs Drew McIntyre (WWE Championship Match)Rhea Ripley (c) vs Charlotte Flair (NXT Women’s Championship Match)

Yesterday, Dave Meltzer reported that two other matches are expected to be on the card, which are the following:

Goldberg (c) vs Roman Reigns (expectedly for the Universal Title)The Fiend vs John Cena

However, Dave Meltzer is now reporting two more matches that are apparently being pencilled in for the show this April. Those are the following (H/T to Cultaholic.com for the transcriptions)

The Kabuki Warriors (c) vs Beth Phoenix & Natalya (Women’s Tag Team Championship Match)

Meltzer penned: “*Kabuki Warriors vs. Natalya & Beth Phoenix for the women’s tag team titles. It is likely the Phoenix return on Raw on 3/2 in Brooklyn to report on Edge’s condition leads to an angle that starts the build for this one. One would think this match can’t be announced until 3/9 or later since both Asuka and Natalya are in the women’s Elimination Chamber match. The two were paired off with each other during the contract signing angle for the Chamber.

Otis vs Dolph Ziggler (With some Mandy Rose involvement)

“*Otis vs. Dolph Ziggler. This will be Mandy Rose related in some form.”

It is also currently expected that the following matches will also be on the show:

Becky Lynch (c) vs Shayna Baszler (Raw Women’s Championship Match)Edge vs Randy Orton

Of course, there will also likely be title defences from the SmackDown Women’s, United States, and Intercontinental Champions on the show in some form.
