– Tonight’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi will feature The Cutting Edge segment with ECW Champion Kane as Edge’s guest.

– As previously reported, Batista will face The Undertaker in a match for the World Heavyweight Championship that will be taped tonight and included on this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

– WWE will tape ECW and SmackDown tonight from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. We will have exclusive match by match live coverage of the tapings here on the site later tonight.

– It was announced on Raw last night that Ken Kennedy will return to television on next week’s show. The plan going into the weekend was for him to work last night’s show and end up in the King of the Ring tournament finals against CM Punk. Obviously that planned was changed and Kennedy will return to the company after Backlash. Kennedy has been away from WWE filming a straight-to-DVD movie in Puerto Rico.
