Total Divas Viewership

According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, this week’s edition of Total Divas averaged 629,000 viewers, which is up from last week’s 500,000 viewership average. This week’s show ranked #30 for the night on cable TV.

Triple H On Possibly Facing Kurt Angle

During today’s NXT Takeover media call with Triple H, The Game put over WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, saying he’s one of the best ever, and doesn’t know anyone who picked up the business as quickly as Angle did.

Triple H added if it’s right for Kurt, and it’s right for him, right for the fans, and all the pieces come together down the road, he’d love to do something with him again.

As we noted earlier this week, the story line on Raw this week featuring Triple H’s return to WWE TV could be setting up The Game vs Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 34.

According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, this week’s new edition of Total Divas averaged 500,000 viewers, which is down from the 556,000 viewers who tuned in for last week’s season premiere.

Bullet Club members Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks have teased another invasion of WWE Raw tonight, as the group Tweeted the following photo, along with the caption “Atlanta”.

WWE Raw is taking place in Atlanta tonight, and the photo below features members of the Bullet Club who were involved in the September “invasion” of Raw, which resulted in the firing of then-WWE writer Jimmy Jacobs.

Three title matches, new talk show set for next week's WWE NXT

Next week’s episode of NXT will feature three championship matches.

– The NXT Women’s Championship will be on the line as Raquel Gonzalez faces Franky Monet next Tuesday. That match was originally scheduled for last week’s premiere edition of NXT 2.0 but was pulled from the lineup for the show.

– Io Shirai & Zoey Stark will defend their NXT Women’s Tag Team titles against Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne on NXT next Tuesday. Mandy Rose, Dolin, and Jayne are known as “Toxic Attraction” in NXT.

– New NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong will defend his title against Grayson Waller on NXT next Tuesday. Waller confronted Strong after Strong won the Cruiserweight title from Kushida on tonight’s NXT.

Bottas ‘confident from the first run’ on Friday

Valtteri Bottas declared that he had felt confident from the start on Friday during practice for this weekend’s Russian Grand Prix.

The Finn has always done exceptionally well at Sochi. He claimed his first win for Mercedes at the venue in 2017 and would have won again in 2018 until ordered by the team to hand over the lead to his team mate Lewis Hamilton.

Bottas took his most recent career win in last year’s race, and today he picked up where he had left off by topping the timesheets in both morning and afternoon practice, just quicker than Hamilton in both cases.

“I really find my flow on this track and I enjoy it,” Bottas stated. “When the car works well here, it’s great fun to drive.

“If you look at the timings and based on my own feeling in the car, it was a good day,” he reported afterwards.

“From the first run, I had confidence in the car and the balance was very good so I could focus on my driving, looking for small gains.

“Tomorrow looks like it will be wet, so it’ll be a completely different experience,” he noted.

“The main thing is the car feels good on the long runs so that’s encouraging for Sunday which should be dry.”

Chief race engineer Andrew Shovlin was certainly satisfied by how the day had gone for both of the team’s drivers.

“We had a pretty good balance to start with today and were able to put in decent times on all tyre compounds,” he said. “We’ve often struggled on the Soft tyre this year but today it seemed to work well.

“Our long run performance was okay, but we’ve not got the balance quite right so there’s a bit of work to do there overnight.

“The forecast looks very wet for tomorrow, especially in the morning but we’re expecting dry conditions for the race.

“That’s going to give us an interesting compromise to deal with, finding a setup that works well in a wet qualifying but also has good long run pace in the dry.

“Overall though, a reasonable start to the weekend.”
