Rey Mysterio Says He Wants to End His Career in WWE, Reveals When He Plans to Retire

Rey Mysterio, who is rumored to be returning to WWE in the near future, spoke with Noelle Foley at the San Diego Comic Con last week, and you can watch the entire interview above. Below are some highlights.

On his dream match:

“I always say that my dream match would have been against Randy “Macho Man” Savage, and it’s really sad that he’s not here with us anymore, but that was probably one of the matches I really would love to have encountered in my lifetime.”

On what he wants fans to remember him for:

“The joy and entertainment that I gave them for the last three decades. I want them to remember me for that emotion I made them feel every time that they saw me step into the ring.”

On returning to WWE:

“It is in my agenda, I would definitely love to close out my career with WWE. With that being said I don’t have that much left on my watch, so,  I’m thinking anywhere from 3-5 years, and I really can see a possible return to the WWE, without a doubt. You got to close a chapter right, so I think that’s probably the proper way to end my career.”
