Impact Wrestling has announced Sami Callihan vs. Ken Shamrock for their upcoming Rebellion pay-per-view.
Impact Rebellion was originally scheduled to take place on April 19 at Terminal 5 in New York. Because of the COVID-19 outbreak and new governmental recommendations limiting public gatherings, the promotion is attempting to find a new venue for the show.
Also announced for the PPV is Tessa Blanchard defending the Impact World Championship against both Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards in a triple threat match.

During the latest AEW Unrestricted podcast, The Young Bucks discussed what plans Tony Khan has in mind for AEW in the United Kingdom.
AEW putting on a show, or a series of shows in England has been discussed plenty of times by the decision-makers of AEW. All of them have stated and promised that AEW will be heading to the country at some point in the future, and The Young Bucks recently revealed how far talks have gotten.

The tag team revealed that they went to the UK with Tony Khan to look at venues for possible shows, with the AEW President having one particular location in mind.
“That night I think we had dinner [in the UK]” Matt Jackson began. “He took us to one of their arenas when we went over there [the UK].”
Matt Jackson would then confirm that was one of the reasons they got behind the AEW project, due to Khan’s ambition. “And it was like, I think that night we looked at each other. We’re like, I think this is it right?” Nick Jackson would then spoke at Fulham’s ground, Craven Cottage “we’re at Fulham arena (Craven Cottage) whatever you call it, it sits like 50,000 people and he’s like, ‘we’re gonna fill this one day with people, for a wrestling show.’ I thought ‘I like this guy, he thinks big.’”
The Khan Family own and operate Fulham F.C., which is a soccer club based in London, England and therefore this is a distinct possibility for AEW. The company would be able to run a show here in the summertime while the soccer season is on its break and the weather is better. The ground itself seats around 25,000 people, but when additional seating is added to the floor, it would certainly push the potential attendance right up.

Agathe Auproux a reçu un nouveau soutien après avoir révélé sa maladie le 11 mars 2019. Jeudi 21 mars, Valérie Benaïm était de retour sur C8 avec un nouveau numéro de C’est que de la télé. Présente autour de la table, Nathalie Marquay (52 ans) a adressé quelques mots à la chroniqueuse de Balance ton post âgée de 27 ans.
Après avoir mis en avant son T-shirt “Tout le monde contre le cancer”, Miss France 1987 a confié : “Je voulais juste faire un petit mot pour Agathe que je ne connais pas, mais qui est votre amie. Je voulais lui dire avec Jean-Pierre que, franchement, on était très fiers de son combat et on l’embrasse très très fort.” Une déclaration qui touchera, à coup sûr, Agathe Auproux.
Cette maladie, Nathalie Marquay la connaît malheureusement très bien. En 1997, elle avait souffert d’une leucémie. Et, il y a quelques mois, c’est son époux Jean-Pierre Pernaut qui luttait contre un cancer de la prostate. Après environ deux mois d’absence, le journaliste de 38 ans a repris l’antenne fin novembre, pour le plus grand plaisir des téléspectateurs de TF1 qui suivent assidûment le JT de 13h. “Je suis guéri. Mon médecin m’a dit que je pouvais dire que j’étais guéri. Bon, on va faire quelques petits contrôles dans ce genre de maladie pendant quelques années, mais je suis guéri“, confiait-il le 12 janvier dernier dans l’émission Bonsoir !, sur Canal+.
Pour rappel, c’est le 11 mars dernier qu’Agathe Auproux a révélé sur Instagram qu’elle était atteinte d’un lymphome. Elle a expliqué qu’elle suivait une chimiothérapie depuis décembre dernier. Un traitement qui durera encore trois mois. “Je suis souvent à l’hôpital, je suis très fatiguée, je perds mes cheveux, j’ai un cathéter que je déteste placer sous ma peau, indiquait la belle brune. Mais tout va bien. Tout va bien. Je me repose. Je ne vais pas mourir. Je réponds très bien au traitement. J’avais juste besoin d’arrêter de mentir, ou tout du moins d’arrêter de faire semblant ici devant vous tous les jours. Je fais un métier d’image et je pensais que ce serait plus facile de garder tout ça pour moi. C’était finalement devenu complètement schizophrénique et oppressant. C’est plus sain de l’assumer. Ça me soulage.“
Par la suite, Agathe Auproux a reçu de nombreux messages de soutien sur les réseaux sociaux. Très vite, elle a donc tenu à remercier tout le monde, en story Instagram : “Tous vos messages. C’est fou. À ceux qui me remercient de briser un tabou, d’avoir parlé publiquement : vos témoignages par milliers, sur vos combats, souvent bien plus durs que le mien, forcent le respect et l’admiration. Je suis tellement touchée par vos mots, votre résilience, par la vérité de ce qu’on partage aujourd’hui.” Ensuite, c’est dans Balance ton post que l’ex-chroniqueuse de TPMP s’était exprimée, jeudi 14 mars.
“Je me sens mieux dans ma vie de tous les jours. Par exemple, je ne mettais plus que des cols très hauts parce que j’avais absolument peur qu’on voie un petit bout de ce fameux cathéter et là, maintenant, je peux sortir avec des T-shirts tout à fait simples. Si on l’aperçoit, c’est pas très grave. Je peux sortir avec les cheveux dans un état… C’est pas très grave. Je vis beaucoup plus sereinement avec la maladie. Je l’ai complètement acceptée, donc je suis dans une démarche beaucoup plus honnête“, avait-elle notamment confié.

Following Friday’s NJPW Strong, the finals are set for the Tag Team Turbulence tournament.
The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) and Violence Unlimited (Chris Dickinson & Brody King) advanced to the finals with wins on Strong.

King and Dickinson were victorious over the West Coast Wrecking Crew duo of Jorel Nelson and Royce Isaacs. King pinned Jorel Nelson after hitting him with a lariat.
On the other side of the bracket, The Good Brothers advanced with a victory over Yuji Nagata and Ren Narita. Anderson pinned Narita following a Magic Killer.
The Tag Team Turbulence finals will be held on the Friday, July 30 episode.
This week’s Strong also featured an NJPW Strong Openweight Championship match between Tom Lawlor and Satoshi Kojima. Lawlor retained the title, winning by submission with a rear naked choke.
Strong airs Fridays at 10 p.m. Eastern time on NJPW World and is available on demand shortly after airing.
Alpine CEO Laurent Rossi expressed his pride in seeing Esteban Ocon standing on the top step of the podium in Hungary on Sunday, feeling “humbled” by the French outfit’s position among F1’s “giants”.
Ocon clinched his maiden win in F1 at the Hungaroring after a flawless drive in difficult conditions and with Aston Martin’s Sebastian Vettel upholding the pressure for the duration of the race.
The triumph – also a first in F1 for the Alpine brand – brought the Enstone-based squad its first win since Fernando Alonso’s victory in the Japanese Grand Prix in 2008 when the team raced under the Renault banner.
Ocon and Alpine’s ‘jour de gloire’ was also the first win for a French driver driving for a French team since Alain Prost’s triumph with Renault in Austria in 1983.
The achievement wasn’t lost on Rossi who praised the “great resilience and dedication” of all those involved in the milestone accomplishment.
“I am incredibly proud and delighted with this result,” said Rossi. “For Esteban, for Alpine, for Renault Group, for Fernando and for the teams across the UK and France that have worked tirelessly to deliver the first victory for Alpine.
“Everyone has shown great resilience, dedication and passion to get this result – it was great teamwork all round, especially for Fernando and his incredible fighting spirit.
“We are humbled by standing on the podium amongst the giants of this amazingly competitive sport.”
Alpine executive director Marcin Budkowski called Ocon’s display in Hungary “unbelievable” while praising his team for capitalizing on the opportunity that had come its way on Sunday.
“Esteban was unbelievable today, huge congratulations to him for his first Grand Prix victory,” said Budkowski.
“It was a stressful race and it felt incredibly long. We put ourselves in a great position at the start, made the right calls during the race, the pit crew executed two perfect pit-stops and then it was about holding all the way to the end.
“We’ve seen crazy races in the past and it’s about being there to capitalise on any opportunity and today we did just that.
“I’m so proud of this team today, not only here at the track but also at Enstone and Viry, this is the reward for their hard work over the last few years.”
