Even more details regarding the big Mae Young Classic tournament were revealed today. We learned about a few of the rumored participants that will be announced soon. F4WOnline.com revealed a whole list of female participants that are supposedly going to be joining the upcoming tournament. A few names are recognizable, and others are brand new to WWE. As mentioned before, Nixon Newell was going to be taking part in the Mae Young Classic, but has been forced to pull out due to an injury. The announced participants so far include Toni Storm, Kairi Sane, Bianca BelAir, Princesa Sugehit, Lacey Evans, Sarah Logan, Jazzy Gabert, Kavita Devi, Taynara Conti, Abbey Laith, Tessa Blanchard, Dakota Kai, Piper Niven, Rhea Ripley, Sage Beckett, and Vanessa Borne.
We still have a ton of unannounced female talent that is expected to be filling up the remaining sports in the tournament. F4WOnline reports that Shayna Baszler, Rachel Evers/Ellering, Santana Garrett, Renee Michelle, Barbi Hayden, Nicole Savoy, Mercedes Martinez, Marti Belle, and Ayesha Ray are all expected to join the inaugural tournament soon. Those names are sure to help bring the new show some fantastic matches and unforgettable moments as well. Those rumored names would bring the total number of participants up to 25 out of the scheduled 32. Who else could be joining the tournament in the remaining spots? Let the speculation continue.
The speculation won’t be continuing for too much longer though. WWE announced today that they will streaming the Mae Young Classic Parade of Champions on Facebook this Thursday at 6:30 ET. The feature will finally reveal all 32 participants of the new tournament, and could provide some new details on what makes each of them so unique. The show begins taping from Full Sail on July 13th and 14th, and the first four episodes will be available on the WWE Network on August 28th. The company will also feature the Mae Young Classic: Bracketology special on the WWE Network immediately after SummerSlam on August 20th.

As has been the trend in WWE for the past couple of months, WWE has found themselves again in another dilemma when it comes to slow ticket sales. This Sunday’s Battleground PPV has still a lot of tickets that has not been sold. As a result, WWE has cut the prices of the tickets.
The seats that were sold at $125 have been cut to $75, the tickets that were sold at $75 have been discounted to $55 and the tickets that were sold at $55 are now down to $25. WWE is pushing the fact that you can get in the show and see the show live for only $25.
Even though Smackdown Live have John Cena, their shows have proven to be much more difficult to sell than shows that are feature Raw Superstars. In terms of Battleground, another factor that could be affecting ticket sales is that the venue that they are in. The Wells Fargo Center can hold up to 15,000 seats, making it larger than any normal arena that they run in.

The Tunisian government may increase aid for poor families in a bid to defuse tensions following anti-austerity protests that saw hundreds arrested and left at least one man dead.

Beji Caid Essebsi, Tunisia”s president, hosted emergency talks with trade unions, employers associations, and political parties on Saturday.

"We discussed the general situation in the country and the reforms, especially socio-economic, that must be adopted to overcome the current problems," Wided Bouchamaoui, the head of the UTICA employers association, told reporters after the meeting.

Noureddine Taboubi, the secretary general of UGTT, the country’s main trade union, said no specific moves had been agreed but that measures "must be adopted" to aid needy families and improve the social safety net.

A Tunisian government source told Reuters that a package of measures would include extra aid to poor families and people in need, but did not give further detail.

Peaceful protests broke out across Tunisia after the government adopted a new budget that raised taxes and pushed up the cost of living on January 1.

Demonstrations escalated on Monday night as youths burned tires to block streets and clashed with security forces.

The unrest largely tailed off after the military was deployed on the streets of several cities on Thursday, but tensions remain high.

Police fired tear gas to disperse demonstrators at a small protest in the central city of Sidi Bouzid overnight on Friday.

Khlifa Chibani, a spokesman for the Interior ministry, said on Saturday a total of 803 people suspected of taking part in acts of violence, theft and looting have been arrested since last Sunday.

He said 97 policemen and members of the security forces had been injured over the week.

It is unclear how many protesters have been injured. A man in his 40s died in disputed circumstances during unrest in the northern town of Tebourba on on Monday night.

The unrest comes ahead of Sunday’s seventh anniversary of the revolution that toppled the dictator Zine El Abidine Ben Ali in 2011, an event that sparked similar uprisings in Egypt, Libya, and Syria.

While the other revolutions have descended into violence or given way to authoritarianism, Tunisia is widely seen as a success story of the Arab Spring.

Its democracy remains for the most part intact and a secular party currently leads the government in coalition with a moderate Islamist group.

But frustration has grown among many Tunisians over economic stagnation and unemployment.

Tunisia agreed to take decisive economic measures to bring down the country’s deficit. in return for a $2.9 billion loan (£2.2 billion) from the International Monetary Fund.

The actress Salma Hayek has claimed Harvey Weinstein threatened to "break" her kneecaps during a campaign of abuse she suffered at the hands of the movie producer.

Hayek, 51, claimed Weinstein sexually harassed her and even threatened to kill her when she spurned his advances while the pair worked together on her film Frida.

Hayek had asked the movie mogul for his help producing the 2002 biopic in which she starred as Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.

But she claimed at one point on set, Weinstein told the film’s director, Julie Taymor, “I am going to break the kneecaps of that ‘C-word’,".

Hayek first spoke out in December, when she published a harrowing op-ed in The New York Times entitled "Harvey Weinstein is my monster too", detailing the abuse she was subjected to while trying to produce the biopic.

After Weinstein, at the peak of his producing power, said yes to the passion project of Hayek – then a relative unknown – she said: "It would become my turn to say no."

"No to opening the door to him at all hours of the night, hotel after hotel, location after location, where he would show up unexpectedly, including one location where I was doing a movie he wasn’t even involved with.

"No, no, no, no, no …"

After repeatedly turning him down she said he flew into a terrifying fury, telling her on one occasion: “I will kill you, don’t think I can’t.”

During a recording with talk show host Oprah Winfrey on Wednesday, Hayek opened up about her months-long struggle to write the op-ed .

“[The Times] contacted me to be a part of the first story and already by this contact, there was all this turmoil and I started crying when they asked and I ended up not doing it,” she said.

She added: “I was ashamed I didn’t say anything. But I felt like my pain was so small compared to all the other stories.”

Detailing the abuse she allegedly suffered, she told Winfrey: “He said to [Frida director] Julie Taymor, ‘I am going to break the kneecaps of that "c word."’"

She went on: “[Weinstein] was not the first guy to do this to me. I was really smart around him. I handled it really well.

"And maybe that’s why he didn’t rape me.”

A spokesperson for Weinstein said: "As in most collaborative projects, there was creative friction on Frida, and in this case, it served to drive the project to perfection.

"It wasn’t an easy process and Mr Weinstein apologises for the way he may have approached the situation. He hopes all involved can at least agree that the movie was fantastic.

"Mr Weinstein apologises for his boorish behaviour… However, his conflict was with Julie Taymor not Ms Hayek. Mr Weinstein never fought with Ms. Hayek on set and this comment does not reflect how he feels about her; he doesn’t recall ever saying such an awful thing."

More than 75 women have now come forward to accuse the film maker of sexual harassment, abuse and rape – among them Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Beckinsale and Lupita Nyong’o.

Weinstein has denied all accusations of non-consensual sex.

At least 29 people were killed and 29 more were injured on Thursday in a major blaze at a building housing a sports centre and public bath in the South Korean city of Jecheon, officials said.

The fire broke out around 4:00pm local time (7am GMT) and quickly engulfed the entire eight-storey building, leaving many trapped inside.

Sixteen victims were found at a public sauna and two elsewhere in the building, the National Fire Agency said.

Television footage showed the building consumed by flames and issuing dark plumes of smoke, as several people stood waiting to be rescued from an outdoor terrace.

The fire – believed to have started in a parking lot on the first floor – has been mostly put out, but the death toll may rise further as firefighters continue to search the building, an agency spokesman said.

"The fire produced so much toxic smoke so quickly, leaving many people unable to evacuate," the spokesman said.

Jecheon is in central South Korea, about 120 kilometres (75 miles) southeast of the capital Seoul.

President Moon Jae-In expressed regret over the accident and urged officials "utmost efforts" for rescue and search operations, his office said.

The worst fire accident ever to hit the modern South Korea was an arson attack on a subway station in the southeastern city of Daegu that killed 192 people in 2003.
