This week’s episode of WWE Raw drew 2,923,000 viewers. This is up from the 2,833,000 viewers the show did last week. Hour one averaged 3,121,000 viewers, hour two drew 3,081,000 viewers, and the final hour of the show averaged 2,568,000 viewers.
This was the post-No Mercy show. Raw had to go up against the Cardinals-Cowboys game that drew 13,691,000 viewers on ESPN.
Raw ranked fourth in the top 150 shows on cable for Monday night, which is the same ranking the show did last week.

This week’s episode of WWE RAW averaged 2.733 million viewers, down from 2.929 million last week.
RAW featured the continued build to TLC later this month, Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman, The Miz defending the Intercontinental Championship against Roman Reigns, another segment of Enzo Amore running down the Cruiserweight division and WWE teasing a reunion of The Shield to close the show.

For the past number of weeks, Impact Wrestling has been having matches and segments to determine the matches for the upcoming Bound For Glory PPV. Just recently, Impact Wrestling announced new matches for their upcoming Bound For Glory PPV event scheduled for next week in Ottawa, Canada.
On their official YouTube channel, Impact Wrestling released three new videos confirming these three new matches for their Bound for Glory PPV on November 5 in Ottawa, Canada. First, the X-Division Champion, Trevor Lee, will be in a 6-Way Match against Dezmond Xavier, Sonjay Dutt, Petey Williams, Garza Jr., and Matt Sydal.

An oil tanker that caught fire after colliding with a freighter off China’s east coast is at risk of exploding and sinking, Chinese state media reported on Monday, as authorities from three countries searched for 32 missing crew members and contain oil spewing from the blazing wreck.
State broadcaster China Central Television, citing Chinese officials, said none of the 30 Iranians and two Bangladeshis who have been missing since the collision late on Saturday had been found. Search and clean-up efforts have been hampered by fierce fires and poisonous gases that have engulfed the tanker and surrounding waters, CCTV reported.
The Panama-registered tanker Sanchi was sailing from Iran to South Korea when it collided with the Hong Kong-registered freighter CF Crystal in the East China Sea, 257 kilometers (160 miles) off the coast of Shanghai, China’s Ministry of Transport said.

China, South Korea and the US have sent ships and planes to search for the Sanchi’s crew, all of whom remain missing. The US Navy, which sent a P-8A aircraft from Okinawa, Japan, to aid the search, said late Sunday that none of the missing crew had been found.
All 21 crew members of the Crystal, which was carrying grain from the United States to China, were rescued, the Chinese ministry said. The Crystal’s crew members were all Chinese nationals.
It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the collision.
Kwon Yong-deok, a Korea Coast Guard official, said thick black smoke was still billowing from the ship on Monday afternoon and bad weather was worsening visibility at the scene.
The Sanchi was carrying 136,000 metric tons (150,000 tons, or nearly 1 million barrels) of condensate, a type of ultra-light oil, according to Chinese authorities, who have dispatched three ships to clean the spill.
By comparison, the Exxon Valdez was carrying 1.26 million barrels of crude oil when it spilled 260,000 barrels into Prince William Sound off Alaska in 1989, badly damaging local ecology and the area’s fishing-based economy.
But the size of the oil slick from the Sanchi — and the scale of the environmental toll — may be smaller. Unlike the thick crude that gushed out of the Valdez, much of the light, gassy condensate from the Sanchi may have evaporated or burned immediately, Mr Kwon said.
The Sanchi’s own fuel that leaked during the collision will be more difficult to clean, officials said.
The US plans to keep troops in northern Syria indefinitely to prevent the resurgence of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) and counter the influence of Iran, Rex Tillerson, the US secretary of state, has said.
Laying out the Trump administration’s broad strategy for Syria, Mr Tillerson said a quick withdrawal from Syria would give the jihadist group space to regroup after years of defeat on the battlefield.
“The United States will maintain a military presence in Syria focused on ensuring Isil cannot re-emerge,” he said. “We cannot make the same mistakes that were made in 2011 when a premature departure from Iraq allowed al-Qaeda in Iraq to survive and eventually morph into Isil”.
Mr Tillerson said the US remained committed to seeing Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian leader, step down from power and would refuse to normalise diplomatic relations with Syria or provide reconstruction funds as “tools of pressure” to get Assad to go.
But America’s top diplomat also called for “patience in the departure of Assad and the establishment of new leadership”, a signal that the US does not expect the Syrian leader, who has survived nearly seven years of civil war, to relinquish power any time soon.

Boris Johnson, the Foreign Secretary, called Mr Tillerson’s speech on Syria a “great statement of US leadership”.
The US has 2,000 troops in Syria and the open-ended commitment announced by Mr Tillerson means they will remain deployed in a place of fiendishly complex and shifting alliances between different actors in the Syrian war.
That complexity has been on display this week as America’s Nato ally Turkey has threatened to launch a full-scale assault on America’s Kurdish allies in northern Syria.
Turkey has been enraged by US plans to help train what American officials initially described as a 30,000-strong “border force”, composed mainly of Kurdish fighters, to maintain security on the Syrian-Turkish border.
Turkey, which is wary of any sign of the Kurds setting up their own state in Syria, accused the US of "creating a terror army” and threatened to attack the Kurdish enclave of Afrin in response.
Mr Tillerson hastily tried to lower the tension, saying the situation has been “misportrayed and misdescribed”. “We are not creating a border security force at all,” he said.
Turkish leaders said they were still not satisfied with Mr Tillerson’s response and called on the US to “eliminate the confusion”. Turkish forces have shelled Afrin but have yet to launch an all-out attack.
Western diplomats said the US had recently begun to engage more seriously on the future of Syria as the war winds down.
One of the immediate priorities of both the US is to try restore the primacy of the UN-brokered Geneva peace talks between the Syrian regime and opposition over over a set of Russian-organised talks in Sochi.
The Geneva talks have for years failed to yield any real dividends but western diplomats are concerned that the Sochi talks, dominated by Vladimir Putin, will only strengthen the Assad regime.
But the Syrian opposition is sceptical the US will be able to bring the regime to the negotiating table given its limited leverage in Syria compared to Russia’s deep involvement in the conflict.
Tsunami warnings have been downgraded after a powerful 8.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Alaska.
The quake hit 157 miles south east of the town of Kodiak at about 9.30am GMT on Tuesday (12.30am local time).

It was in the Gulf of Alaska at a depth of 6.2 miles (10km), the US Geological Survey reported.
The earthquake prompted a tsunami warning for coastal Alaska and the west coast of British Columbia in Canada.
Less severe tsunami watches were issued for the US west coast – the entire coasts of California and Oregon and part of Washington state.

However, the National Tsunami Center cancelled a series of tsunami alerts after waves failed to materialise in coastal Alaskan communities.
Anchorage, the largest city in Alaska, earlier issued an extreme warning, saying there was "extraordinary threat to life or property".
The alert told people living on the coast to "go to high ground or move inland".
But tsunami watches were at about 12.30pm GMT ( 3.30am local time) cancelled for British Columbia in Canada, Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii.
Mickey Varnadao, a computer specialist with the warning centre in Palmer, Alaska, said that an advisory remains in effect for parts of Alaska, from Kodiak Island to Prince William Sound.

About two hours after the quake, there had been no reports of a wave hitting Kodiak, which was projected to see the first hit at about 1.45am (10.45am GMT).
Lt Tim Putney, of the Kodiak Police Department, said: "We haven’t seen anything yet or had any reports of a wave."
However, officials were telling people to remain at evacuation centres until they were told otherwise. He said the town has several shelters above 100ft and people below that level were being encouraged to move to higher ground.

Earlier, the US National Weather Service’s Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said "widespread hazardous tsunami waves were possible" on coastal areas "even far from the epicentre".
After the earthquake struck, a buoy in the Gulf of Alaska reportedly recorded a 32ft (10m) water surge. Data showed the water height reduced soon afterwards.

People reported on social media that the quake was felt hundreds of miles away in Anchorage.
Some living on the coast of Alaska were sent tsunami warnings telling them: "Go to high ground or move inland."
Kodiak police chief Tim Putney said he was woken by the earthquake, which he estimated shook for at least 30 seconds.
"I’ve been Kodiak for 19 years that was the strongest, longest lasting one I’ve ever felt," he said.
But he said the police department has received no reports of damage, adding: "We have people with their eyes on the sea, from a safe distance."
Heather Rand, who was 360 miles away in Anchorage, told CNN it felt like the longest earthquake she had ever experienced.
"It was a very long, slow build up. Creepy, more than anything. Definitely the longest, and I was born here," she said, adding the only damage was cracks in the wall.
In a warning for Alaska and British Columbia, the Anchorage Office of Emergency Management said: "If you are located in this coastal area, move inland to higher ground.
"Tsunami warnings mean that a tsunami with significant inundation is possible or is already occurring.
"Tsunamis are a series of waves dangerous many hours after initial arrival time. The first wave may not be the largest."

A local radio station on the Alaskan island of Kodiak, close to the epicentre, urged listeners to move away from coastal areas.
"This is a tsunami warning. This is not a drill. Please get out to higher ground," said the announcer on KMXT public radio.
"If you are on the flats, get up on one of the hills… just go high."

“The plan outlined by the administration today to remove thousands of U.S. troops from Germany is a grave error,” Romney said in a statement.
“It is a slap in the face at a friend and ally when we should instead be drawing closer in our mutual commitment to deter Russian and Chinese aggression,” he added. “And it is a gift to Russia coming at a time when we just have learned of its support for the Taliban and reports of bounties on killing American troops. The move may temporarily play well in domestic politics, but its consequences will be lasting and harmful to American interests.“

About 5,600 of the troops will be moved elsewhere in Europe, while about 6,400 will come back to the United States. Many of those returning to the United States will do rotational deployments back into Europe, Esper added.
In making Wednesday’s announcement, Esper fulfilled an order Trump first announced in June.
Esper cast the move as a strategic realignment of forces that had been in the works for months, saying Trump’s June announcement merely accelerated the process.

But Trump has repeatedly cast the move as punishment for Germany not fulfilling NATO’s goal of countries spending at least 2 percent of their gross domestic product on defense.
On Wednesday, moments after Esper argued the drawdown is about strategy, Trump reiterated that he is doing it to penalize Berlin.
“We’re reducing the force because they’re not paying their bills. It’s very simple. They’re delinquent,” Trump told reporters while departing the White House.
The drawdown has elicited criticism from Democrats and Republicans alike who argue it will undermine U.S. alliances.
Calls to halt the plan also grew after the news that U.S. intelligence has indicated Russia offered bounties to the Taliban to kill U.S. troops, with lawmakers and others arguing gifting Russia with a European drawdown after that revelation would further embolden Moscow.

Still, at least one key Republican has come around on the Germany drawdown plan. Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman James Inhofe (R-Okla.) announced his support after Pentagon officials briefed him last week.

DeHart previously served as a senior advisor to the State Department’s Office of Security Negotiations and Agreements, housed in the Bureau of Political and Military Affairs. DeHart had also served as the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Oslo, Norway.

The Trump administration has identified the Arctic as a key area of possible confrontation with Russia and China.
Pompeo said in an interview with Danish media last week that “we’ve all been a little bit naive to watch not only the Russians but the Chinese interests there competing to become more aggressive.”

The AFL-CIO is accusing some of the nation’s largest companies of juicing executive pay with cheap stocks as the COVID-19 pandemic erupted, even as they proclaimed they were cutting salaries.
The AFL-CIO offered Abercrombie & Fitch as an example.
In April, the company announced it would cut executive pay from 10 percent to 33 percent as it furloughed workers.

But CEO Fran Horowitz received 240,701 restricted stock shares two weeks earlier, which amounts to almost triple the amount of stock she received the prior year.
The value of the extra stock based on late March stock prices covers around 20 percent of her 2019 salary. The company’s stock price has not recovered substantially since March, however.
The Hill has reached out to Abercrombie and Fitch for comment.
AFL-CIO Deputy Director for Corporations and Capital Markets Brandon Rees says that similar “shenanigans” took place at other companies.
“The COVID-19 related CEO pay shenanigans, where CEOs took symbolic salary cuts to their cash salaries, at the same time receiving equity awards, will not show up until the proxy statements, because the proxy filings are retroactive,” he said.
“We’re not going to have the full picture of CEO pay in the covid economy until 2021.”

The accusations came as part of the union’s annual report on executive pay, which found that average executive compensation for S&P 500 companies had risen to $14.8 million in 2019, 264 times the median salaries in those companies.
The $300,000 executive pay increase last year, before the pandemic hit, amounts to around 2 percent more than in 2018, which was actually slower than the increase in median salaries.
The CEO-to-worker pay ratio the previous year was 287 to 1.
