About two years ago, Pakistan-based terror outfit had struck a chord with a large number of Kashmiri youths by projecting one of them as the group’s poster boy. Burhan Wani, a native of Tral was the Hizbul commander and photos and videos of him which were widely circulated on social media in the valley was used by Hizbul to bring in more Kashmiri youths to its folds.

One of the most viral images of Burhan was a group photo of him, along with his comrades posing with automatic weapons, wearing military fatigues.
